The World of Cakes
Growing up in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside on my family's farm, I developed a great passion for food and baking from a very young age.
After graduating from Durham University with a degree in Earth Sciences, I decided to take a very different route and turned my attention to the world of baking.
Following a fantastic year learning the secrets to baking the perfect loaf whilst working at the award-winning Peter Cooks Bread, I was excited to explore the art of cake making. I went on to complete courses at world-renowned Le Cordon Bleu, as well as London's esteemed school in sugarcraft; the Peggy Porschen Academy.
I am now extremely proud to have founded Jennifer Edwards Cakes, and take pride in baking and decorating each and every cake I make to the highest of standards. Specializing in sugarcraft, my hand-crafted sugar flowers characterize many of my signature cakes.
From chocolate chip muffins and apple crumbles baked by my mother's side as a young child, to grand wedding cakes and macaron towers; I have come a long way. Yet what has never left me throughout the years of baking, is the joy I find in seeing the smiles on people's faces when they see (and eat!) my baked creations!
